ENAR – A network of European NGOs and associations working to combat racism in all EU member States, an important achievement of the "1997 – European Year against Racism” initiative. Between March and September 1998 more than 600 NGOs and associations were involved in national and European level consultative round tables to discuss the feasiblity of such a structure.
