ProgettoMondo in figures
43 years’ international experience, 330 projects launched and completed, 880 volunteers assigned.
Today we are present in 19 Develooping Countries and we work together with 8 European countries alongside 140 local partners and 38 operators abroad involved in 32 projects in progress and 28 operators working in our Italian office. Funding Bodies carried ou 13 checks in the field in 2008-2009.
In 2008 we mobilized public funding for a total of euro 5,909,221, and euro 890,036 of private funding. The 2008 balance sheet is 6,860,946, and the 2009 budget estimate is 5,857,424 .
Budget Accuracy and transparency in the use of financial resources – be they public or private – are seen by ProgettoMondo not just as a political and economic duty but as a true moral duty. For this reason the ProgettoMondo balance sheet has for many years been audited by an independent auditor who certifies its accuracy, appropriateness and veracity, and it is then audited by the College of Auditors and submitted to the General Meeting of members for its approval. The budget document is then made public by being published on the Organization’s website. Attached to the Organization’s balance sheet is the Report on all activities carried out during the year by all offices, operators and projects abroad.
