EDUCATION AND SCHOOL
In addition to its work in
Countries in the South of the World, ProgettoMondo
Mlal has always been active in Europe and
in Italy in initiatives aimed at reinforcing the culture of development
and solidarity , spreading awareness and study of the problems facing
the Developing Countries, encouraging the meeting of different cultures, making
optimum use of the riches that others have to offer.
Specifically,
the following are provided:
projects in Europe on Education
for Development and interculture, with the involvement of schools and the
extra-school environment on topics related to Human Rights, ecosustainable
development and international cooperation;
didactic workshops divided according to age groups,
conducted by experts on interculture and Human Rights issues; training, in-depth
study and updating for teachers with courses, seminars, meetings, audiovisual
screenings;
exhibitions, research and production of pedagogic-didactic material
European Development Education projects:
SOLIDARITY
SCHOOL
The aim is to attract the attention and support of public opinion on
initiatives for development and the fight against poverty in the South of the
world by organizing events and demonstrations on a local level, promoting
twinning arrangements between Countries and launching contacts and exchanges
between projects and partners in Developing Countries.Awareness-raising
material and a “SolidaritySchool” teaching kit are
provided.
